Lakme seems to have invaded my vanity box in the past few months. My latest addition is the Lakme Clean Up range which claims to give salon like clean up and glow in 3 steps. First Cleanse with the Face Wash, then Exfoliate with the Scrub and finally Nourish with the Mask It has been a long time since I liked a scrub or a face wash. Hence I really wanted to see what these Lakme products have to offer. I bought a combined kit of all the three products however you can get individual pieces too.

Lakme Clean Up Range : My Review Of The Product
Face Wash – It comes is a cute and attractive red coloured transparent tube with a flip flop cap that clicks lock easily & tightly. The texture of this face wash is more like a gel. The face wash is sheer pink in color with red and white micro beads, however these micro beads are very gentle on your skin, hence it helps in cleansing and not exfoliating.
It lathers pretty well, hence a small drop is enough for one time use. I must say, this face wash did manage to remove all the visible dirt and impurities from my face. My face felt refreshed and smooth post its usage. It did hydrate my face well, unlike other face washes that I have used which left my skin dry. I must add here that the sweet strawberry smell is an added bonus.
Scrub – It comes in a (yes you have guessed it right) a red sturdy tube with a white cap. The texture is thick and creamy. If you have seen the normal apricot scrub then this looks identical to that except the fact that it smells of strawberry.
It is a mild scrub and contains a decent amount of medium sized scrub granules. It did manage to exfoliate my skin decently, removing dead skin cells and unclogging pores to leave behind smooth and soft skin. However, if you have deep-seated blackheads then it won’t be much effective.
Face Mask – This face pack comes in a red tube with a shiny white cap similar to that of the scrub. The texture is very thick, hence you gotto wet your face to spread it evenly on your face. It takes about 15 minutes to dry.
Unfortunately I started feeling a little tingle after 5 minutes or so, but if your skin is not sensitive you will do just fine. I did not have any issue while removing this mask, it came off pretty easily, however I could not see any visible difference on my face.I did not notice any instant glow though it did tighten my face slightly without letting it feel dry.
Overall I must say I loved the Lakme Clean Up face wash and found the scrub pretty decent too. However the face mask gave me nothing extra from what the other two products offer. You can try facewash and scrub but you can surely give the face mask a pass.
