Maybelline Baby Lips Electro Pop Review

Maybelline Baby Lips Electro Pop Review

Maybelline finally launched its electro pop range of Maybelline Baby Lips in India. Now Maybelline Baby Lips is my all time favorite lip balm. I have used so many of these over the years so I got my hands on these bright electric beauties as soon as they were launched here. Maybelline Baby Lips Electro Pop range comes in 4 shades (in India) – Oh Orange, Fierce N Tangy, Pink Shock and Berry Bomb. Today I am going to review the shade Oh Orange.

The packaging of these cute little babies is quite similar to their US & European counterparts. Black twist up tube with transparent cap and name in bright font on it. It definitely looks happening :P. The texture is pretty smooth and buttery though I found it little heavier than the original ones. It feels very moisturizing on my lips thanks to all the shea butter and vitamin E it is made of.

Oh Orange is sheer orange shade hence hardly shows on my lips, infact if you have heavily pigmented lips this one will not show atall. Personally I love the fruity tangy smell it has, reminds me of orange candies we use to have as kids. The lip balm goes off in 2 hours. I don’t mind reapplying it but the 8 hours claim is not true. It won’t instantly recover chapped lips but with regular use they get cured. The quantity is good for the price and can go for a month with regular use.

Verdict

Like I said, I am a big baby lips fan and so I like Maybelline Baby Lips Electro Pop too. Though the shade Oh Orange is not so pigmented it still is very hydrating.People looking for more pigmentation should try the shade Pink Shock, it is the most pigmented shade from this range.
