OOTD: Slit-Cut Maxi Skirt with Cropped Black Spaghetti
I’m back with an outfit post after so long as entrance exams and post-exam partying kept me busy *wink*. The sweltering hot weather makes me do everything except stepping outdoors. Comfy and breathy clothes seem to be the only rescue!
Coming to the outfit, I wore a slit-cut maxi skirt with cropped black spaghetti. The skirt has abstract prints in muted tones that give an earthy appeal. The skirt fits right at the waistline and has this perfect length that let it fall just the way I like it. The best part is, it has a slit-cut that makes it comfy to walk in and adds on to the style quotient. I paired the skirt with cropped black spaghetti. I didn’t want to mix prints, so I choose to wear this plain spaghetti in black which highlighted the prints on the skirt all the more. Moreover cropped tops are so much in vogue. The way cropped tops let you do the skin show is so sexy and classy! The spaghetti has beautiful lace detailing on the edge of the neckline and shoulder straps.
For footwear, I wore brown leather tie-up flats that went bingo with the outfit. These flats are one of my all-time favorites. I love the way they style up almost all my outfit these days. They have a nomadic appeal to it that I love the most.
I accessorized the outfit subtly keeping the earthy undertones in mind. I stacked a number of bangles, one in wooden, other in black and the rest in sterling silver. I further fastened a silver chained watch around my other wrist. I also adored an antique silver neckpiece and hooped in a pair of big silver circle earrings.
I also carried a faux leather brown shoulder bag that is all urban and gypsy in appeal.
Makeup wise, I defined my eyes with kohl and black eyeliner and gave a touch of bright red lips. The red lippies brought some vivaciousness to the otherwise muted look. And for the tresses, I brushed them aside and let it be!
Hope you like the nomadic junkie look and enjoy the pictures!
